Two days later, an attack ad against him was released as to why he shouldn't be in Congress. He believes he can help the economy and "ferret out" wasteful spending. He is doing this because he loves America, New York, and Staten Island. He claims despite being new to politics, he has had four years on television telling the truth. On MaMurr announces immediately that he is leaving Impractical Jokers to run for Congress and representing Staten Island. He promises to ferret out corruption and do and say whatever the voters tell him. Murray, the former co-star of “Impractical Jokers” on truTV, is now running to be the U.S.
